Car Rental Agreement
This Rental Agreement sets out the general terms governing the car rental service provided by Autofix Rental and the renter using the service. By accepting the vehicle, the renter acknowledges the applicable rental conditions and vehicle handover documentation.
1. Rental Period
The rental period covers the dates and times specified in the reservation and vehicle handover documents. The renter is responsible for returning the vehicle at the agreed date, time and location. Any extension must be requested in advance and approved by Autofix Rental.
2. Use of the Vehicle
The rental vehicle may only be driven by authorized drivers who hold a valid driving licence and meet the applicable rental requirements. The vehicle must be used in accordance with applicable traffic laws and regulations.
The vehicle may not be used for illegal activities, racing, speed testing, towing or pushing other vehicles, or under conditions that could cause damage to the vehicle.
3. Vehicle Collection and Return
The vehicle is provided to the renter according to its documented condition, fuel level and equipment at the time of collection. The renter must return the vehicle in accordance with the agreed rental conditions.
New damage, missing equipment or other issues resulting from use contrary to the rental conditions may be assessed according to the applicable rental and insurance terms.
4. Payments and Charges
The rental price is calculated according to the selected vehicle, rental duration, collection and return locations, additional services and other conditions confirmed at the time of reservation.
Traffic fines, toll roads, bridge charges, parking fees and similar costs resulting from the renter's use of the vehicle may be the renter's responsibility under the applicable terms.
5. Insurance and Damage
Insurance and protection applicable to the vehicle depend on the package selected or provided during the rental and the relevant policy conditions. In the event of an accident or damage, the renter must contact Autofix Rental as soon as reasonably possible and complete any required official procedures.
Damage excluded from insurance coverage or resulting from use contrary to the Rental Agreement may be the renter's responsibility.
6. Traffic Rules and Fines
The renter must comply with applicable traffic regulations throughout the rental period. Traffic fines and related legal costs arising from the use of the vehicle during the rental may be charged to the renter in accordance with the applicable conditions.
7. Breakdown or Accident
In the event of a breakdown, accident, damage or other unusual situation, the renter must contact Autofix Rental and follow the instructions provided. Where required, the police or other competent authorities should be contacted and the necessary documentation obtained.
8. Renter Responsibilities
The renter is responsible for using the vehicle safely and carefully, protecting the vehicle and its equipment, and complying with the agreed conditions throughout the rental period.
9. Validity of the Agreement
The reservation, payment details, vehicle handover documentation, additional services, insurance/protection options and any specific conditions accepted during the rental may form an integral part of this agreement.
Autofix Rental may update its rental terms in accordance with changes in applicable legislation and service conditions.
